First build your product for the blind

Your app’s accessibility is not an after-thought, it is a core metric of a well designed product.
If you close your eyes, could you use your website?

WCAG, or Web Content Accessibility Guidelines have four major considerations for websites
Principle 1 β€“ Perceivable Information and user interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive. Principle 2 β€“ Operable User interface components and navigation must be operable. Principle 3 β€“ Understandable Information and the operation of the user interface must be understandable. Principle 4 β€“ Robust Content must be robust enough that it can be interpreted by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies.

How many times have you seen a good looking website that is completely useless? Focus first on the user’s intention, their expectations and the affordances they are going to use to get the value they expect.
